The Flower Shop Girl

"Sure, that would be nice," I said as i picked up the one she likes. "I have a feeling this won't work out, she's a bit too clingy for me. But I'm giving it a chance anyways," I admitted as I went up to her.

"I'll tell you a secret." I said as I rung up his flowers. "All girls can be clingy. You just have to find the one you don't mind being clingy."

"Yeah, but she expects me to text her everyday even if I'm so dead tired from work, or sick. If she doesn't get it, she gets upset and thinks I'm leaving or cheating on her," I said and sighed.

"That actually doesn't sound like a healthy relationship." I said. "I think you should think about leaving her. If all she is doing is stressing you out."

"Yeah, probably but I'm not good at making good decisions," I said.

"Well I think you should leave her." I said. "You'll feel better when you do."

"Maybe, I will think about it," I replied.

I smiled. "Well have a good day."

"See you soon," I replied before going to meet my girlfriend.

I was a little sad when he left. But I got ober it and went back to work.

I met with her at the dinner and we chatted. When I finally tried to end it she told me that she'd been seeing someone basically since the day I asked her out. I didn't have anything to say to that but a polite have a nice life and left without even ordering food. Despite the hurt I felt at that I still felt better being free of her. She was nice and pretty but I'm starting to see that those two words aren't the only two descriptive words I should have.

Before I knew it was closing time. I was happy. It had been a good day for the store. Good profit.

I went to some other fast food place to get some food to take home. Once I got home I just ate and watched some TV.

I went up stairs to my home after everything was taken care of and locked up.

I put my dishes away and relaxed a bit.

After I fed myself and showered I went to bed.

I went to bed some time later that night.

*Sleeping.*

The next morning I got up and made myself something to eat.

When my alarm went off I did my morning routine. Then went down to the shop. To open it up for the day.

After breakfast I had to work so I spent about 8 hours there.

Before I knew it my 8 hour work day was over. I started clean up the shop. Putting flowers away in the freezer. So they would stay fresh for tomorrow. My mind went to that guy. Wondering if he broke up with his girlfriend. I shook my head. It would be too good to be true if he had. He probably only saw me as a florist that he wasted money on.

On my way home I wanted to go see my favorite florist. I would love to see our relationship taken to a different level so I thought I would try. When I arrived the shop was closed but she was still at the register so I went to the window next to her and tapped lightly.
